No último dia 14 falceceu o novaiorquino Petrus T. Ratajczyk, mais conhecido como "Lord" Peter Steele. Com passagens reconhecidas pelas bandas "Fallout" (Hard/Metal), "Carnivore" (Thrash) e "Type O Negative" (Gothic/Doom) o baixista e vocalista Steele soube como poucos ir da agressividade do Metal à sutileza sombria do Doom sem se perder, contribuindo para o rock com faixas como "Rock Hard" (Fallout), "Predator" (Carnivore) e "Profits Of Doom" (Type O Negative).
